The V12 engine`s torque delivery ensures high performance while the inner agility of the car and its perfect weight distribution creates an equilibrium between sports car performance and characteristic luxurious experience provided by modern Aston Martin cars.
The 6.0 liter V12 engine is hand-built and generates 490 bhp (365 kW/497 PS) and 570 Nm (420 lb ft) of torque. This powerful engine is complimented with a six-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission.
A recently developed Adaptive Damping System (ADS) provides a more refines driving by adapting it to different conditions as a consequence of intelligent road interpretation. This system allows you to select five distinct stiffness settings for both normal and sport mode.
For better control, the “Sport” button on the fascia makes possible the selection of a sharper throttle response and faster gear changes while also keeping the gears from shifting up at the revolution limiter.
Aston Martin Viraje comes equipped with Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brakes that offer a progressive and precise stopping power. The powerful CCM braking system is much lighter than the conventional cast-iron discs, while the lower rotational mass leads to better acceleration.
Inspired from the aerospace industry, the versatile aluminum VH architecture of Aston Martin Viraje is light, but strong, the perfect platform for the production of a Viraje coupe and Volante.
There are single bi-xenon headlamps following the lines of the car`s flanks and giving it a modern look. The new aluminum metal front grille is costumed to provide an aerofoil profile, while the design of the new front bumper stands for simplicity and elegance. The front wings are a modern approach of the brand`s side strake comprising six LEDs harmoniously creating the side repeater. In order to accentuate the width of the car, the rear diffuser features a body-colored blade.
The interior of Aston Martin Virage will surely captivate anyone. When the signature swan wing doors open, the interior reveals seven hides of the finest Bridge of Weir hand-stitched leather. Each car will benefit of 70 man hours of expert craftsmanship that creates the renowned sophisticated Aston Martin interior experience. All in all, more than 200 man hours will be spent for making this car.
Developed with Garmin, the new fully integrated Satellite Navigation system can be managed easier with the four-way joy-stick from the fascia, while the new 6.5 inch high resolution display provides the ultimate maps and graphics.
