Paul Klee was one of the most appreciated German artists. His theories on color use are of great importance for the modern art and so are his many paintings. Although he started out as a violinist, he was quickly drawn by visual arts. However his musical nature is reflected by many of his creations, especially his first abstract painting named “In the Style of Kairouan”.

Although he is known as a famous painter, Leonardo Da Vinci has extended his interest outside this domain. He was fascinated by the human body, astronomy, architecture and flying instruments. His research is documented in over 13 000 pages of drawings. This research is proof that he was destined for great things and had he lived in a different time maybe his discoveries would have had a greater influence on the fate of humanity. However his works of art have opened a new path for future generations and the art world was never the same after his influence.

Although he was a very bright mind , Salvador Dali was unable to be a serious student. He cause conflicts in all institutions and groups that he was part of. It would seem that the only people who ever understood him were his mother and his wife. The artist that he most respected was Pablo Picasso, who’s style and techniques had a great influence on Dali’s work.
