Origin:
Very old breed. There is accurate data on the origin of the white English Setter. It is said that he is the successor of the Perdigueros Pointers a Spaniel dog with long hair. It is known for a long time in England. In 1570 he was reminded by Dr. Cajus in his writings. He was introduced in many English engravings of the 16th century. The name setter probably comes from the role attributed to hunting in ancient times: when they felt the presence of small prey had to sit and to lie down next to the prey and be covered with the same netting that hunters used in that time to hunt. The famous English breeder and coach, Sir Edward Lawerack using directed crossing and a severe selection, managed within several decades, to create from a very valuable item, a variety of useful characters, the variety Lavra White English Setter.

Temperament:
Intelligent, calm, cheerful, loyal, adaptable, obedient. It has lively temperament, greater mobility, speed and resistance to fatigue and heat.
