There are 5 players in each team playing on a rectangular court divided by a middle court line. Each team has to defend their half of the court and their hoop and throw the ball in the opponents’ hoop. The basketball rules also contain a lot of regulation regarding the interaction between players as well as the way that they are handling the ball.
