The fact that Suzuki has closed the gates to its automobile industry in the USA has been a ravishing piece of news. However in order to keep its fans still interested, the giant company did promise to increase its interest in the motorcycle department. So far, Suzuki has neglected the US market trying to push its older models instead of surprising the fans with new choppers. Today we are going to take a look at the 2013 Suzuki Boulevard C90T B.O.S.S. and see is the manufacturing company is really going to deliver its promises.

The 1998 VL1500 Intruder was the main inspiration for the New Boulevard. Furthermore the B.O.S.S. shares many features with the Boulevard M90 such as the main frame, the 5 speed transmission and the engine. The new Boulevard also has a triple air box array inspired from the M109 R muscle cruiser. It would seem that when it comes to an original design, Suzuki is not yet prepared to commit to a project. However the black out styling has a certain indescribable appeal. Even the1462 cc liquid cooled, 54 degrees V-twin engine is surrounded by a black allure that spreads all the way to the wheels, the forks and the exhaust system. The black design is the main factor that inspired its name as B.O.S.S stands for blacked-out-special-Suzuki.

The 2013 Suzuki Boulevard C90T B.O.S.S. is a classic cruiser. Featuring a hidden suspension similar to a softail combined with a 45 mm fork, the motorcycle ensures a smooth ride. Furthermore the chopper presents a 28,3 inches comfortable seat and a large windscreen meant to deliver a relaxing yet thrilling ride. The factory integrated hard cases however are an element of surprise as they are quite uncharacteristic to a Boulevard.

One of the main advantaged of the 2013 Suzuki Boulevard C90T B.O.S.S. the easy handling. Furthermore the chopper also presents neutral steering and a lot of stability. While the two piston sliding pin caliper brakes are perfectly fine, a driver may be disappointed by the lack of an A.B.S option. All in all the new Boulevard is a solid effort. With a SOHN V-Twin engine, a 1462 cc displacement, a 4,8 fuel capacity and a 800lb. claimed curb weight, this chopper makes a good cruiser choice especially considering the $ 13,999 price. We can safely declare that the new C90T is a decent effort from Suzuki. It is a comfortable accessible ride that will not blow your mind away but it will get the job done.
